Honest limitations
We believe in transparency about what our tools cannot do.
- File vault has a 5GB per-file limit for web uploads (CLI has no limit)
- Initial sync can be slow for accounts with >10,000 items
- Mobile apps require iOS 15+ or Android 10+
- No browser extensions for Safari (WebKit limitations)
- Self-hosted requires PostgreSQL 14+ and 2GB RAM minimum
- Account recovery requires your recovery key - we cannot help if lost
